Our Commitment

Akom Kese is an organization that is dedicated to the comprehensive presentation and representation of Akan culture in the United States.  We work to facilitate this by:

• Fostering​ camaraderie, fellowship and networking among all Akans in America;
• Creating, maintaining and strengthening friendships and familial connections;
• Sharing wisdom, knowledge and information that facilitates cultural growth and expression;
• Showcasing members of the Akan community to each other, individuals that are interested in Akan culture and to the members of various shrine houses;
• Hosting our annual Akom Kese conference.
